Seaya posts 2 wins in CYC Midwinter Regatta 2012 Seaya had a fantastic first weekend of CYC Midwinter 2012.  We posted wins on both Saturday and Sunday.  The weather forecast for the weekend was pretty dismal but Saturday turned sunny just in time for the race.  Plenty of breeze signalled “Seaya weather” and we led all the way around the course.  There were several gusts over 30 knots, but we seemed to handle them pretty well and got the gun for our efforts. On Sunday, the weather had indeed returned to dismal, but we again got a good start with speed and pointing ability and again led around the course for a nice win.  Two bullets and sitting pretty in first place!!!  After that awesome weekend of sailing, the skipper is smiling Monday morning despite the niners game.
